What is it?

My Strengths Coach is an innovative online learning resource designed specifically to support individuals to develop their strengths. Using a blended approach of online learning, face-to-face, and virtual sessions, your employees can discover more about applying their strengths within your business.

How does it work?

The best changes happen when our learning is supported long after an event or workshop. Capp have developed a unique and innovative learning resource called My Strengths Coach to support individuals along with their managers, in exploring strengths within their roles. This self-led, online tool gives every participant access to their unique learning journey, crafted from the key content and messages of a specific programme. It provides additional guidelines to support manager conversations, sets tasks and exercises to prompt application, as well as offering next steps advice and stretch options at the end of the journey.

My Strengths Coach Modules have been created through the analysis of thousands of job roles and in-depth research into the core strengths required by employees across any sector. This has defined a top eight that are critical for everyone to possess in order for them to be successful in the role and contribute effectively to the overall success of your business:

  • Using the unique STARS model – Stir, Think, Act, Reflect and Stretch – your employees complete the programme at their own pace supported by virtual group coaching and expert support.

    When should I use it?

    My Strengths Coach is appropriate for employees at any stage of their career. For less experienced populations – first jobbers, Apprentices and Graduates – it engages and guides them through their early interactions with managers, makes expectations explicit, and provides opportunities to show initiative. It's as equally impactful for more experienced hire or those that are new to strengths development by offering a clear set of tasks to complete, milestones for checking in, and the opportunity to stretch and push themselves out of their comfort zones. My Strengths Coach can be aligned to modular programmes or customised sessions and is self-led to reduce manager administration.
